CCI Programs

Lebanon College announces a new alliance with Condensed Curriculum International, INC (CCI).

For over 12 Years, CCI has been partnering with Colleges and Universities to help offer Innovative Allied Health Programs in communities nationwide.

CCI’s executive team includes health care and business professionals with extensive experience in consumer and corporate educational programs through partnering with public institutions. Through this partnership we want to offer cutting edge allied health programs to:

  • Create entry level job opportunities for individuals by getting them ”a foot in the door" through low cost, short term training programs in health care related fields
  • Service the growing allied health education and training needs of health care organizations, hospitals, long term care facilities and other corporations and organizations

These Programs are more than “reading out of a book”. Programs include both lecture and hands on labs to simulate a “real world” professional experience.

Pharmacy Technician Certification Program

This comprehensive course will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board's PTCB exam. Technicians work in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies, community pharmacies and other health care settings - working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Course content includes medical terminology specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions and defining drugs by generic and brand names. Students will learn dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control and billing and reimbursement.

EKG Technician Certification

This comprehensive EKG Technician Certification Program prepares students to function as EKG Technicians and to take the American Society of Phlebotomy Technician (ASPT) - Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician exam and other National Certification Exams. This course will include important practice and background information on anatomy of the heart and physiology, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, legal aspects of patient contact, laboratory assisting, electrocardiography and echocardiography. Additionally, students will practice with equipment and perform hands on labs including introduction to the function and proper use of the EKG machine, the normal anatomy of the chest wall for proper lead placement, 12-lead placement and other clinical practices.
