Goals and Competencies
The purpose of any higher education is the attainment of knowledge
through a disciplined learning process. Lebanon College is no exception. The
College prepares its students by means of a program that balances the liberal
arts with the more practical needs dictated by the world in which we live.
Lebanon College is committed to keeping up with the
ongoing changes in education,
technology, and our society.
The educated person understands important concepts in the humanities, social
sciences, and arts, and applies these to everyday life. This person is engaged
in his or her community, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to
identify and address ethical dilemmas and issues.
